"THE ABSOLUTE VIDEO FILM"
work journal, early 1970s
Beginning in the early 1960s, Schönherr kept work journals in which he reflected on his daily life and documented his concepts for projects in texts, sketches and drawings. This journal includes the sketches, scores and "Concepts, Theories, Rules, Innovations" for the "absolute video film," a category of art production similar to that of "electronic films" or "TV art" that includes both films of television images and video installations of such works.
