In preparation for the 107 hour Super 8 film he made in New York City in 1976-1978, Schönherr filled many index cards with thoughts, concepts, ideas and storyboards. This card reads: "NY Film. Long shot lasting 3 hours of 5th Avenue of people (people, people, people)."
