Schönherr met Dieter Roth in 1976. Roth appears in sequences of Schönherr’s film UNBEKANNTE HAMBURG (1982-1985) as well as in numerous photographs. Schönherr also made a structural photographic project of Roth’s binders arranged in Herbert Hossman’s empty apartment.
