Between 1968 and 1970 Schönherr made approximately twenty-five Super 8 films of television images shot with single-frame technique and structured by flashes of brilliant color (in this case, white). He sometimes referred to these films as "TV Art" and conceived a number of multiple channel installation projects with them, including SONATA FÜR VIER MONITORE (SONATA FOR 4 MONITORS, 1970).
