In the context of the two-year research project Living Archive at the Arsenal Institute for Film and Video Art (Berlin), Marc Siegel conducted research on Schönherr’s work, screening and cataloging approximately 60 Super 8mm films. This resulted in the digitalization of twelve films, available for distribution through Arsenal, and the presentation of an installation at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin.
Im Rahmen des zweijährigen Forschungsprojekts LIVING ARCHIVE am Arsenal Institut für Film und Videokunst (Berlin) recherchierte Marc Siegel das Werk Schönherrs und sichtete und katalogisierte ca. 60 Super 8mm Filme. Eine Auswahl von 12 Filmen wurde digitalisiert und ist jetzt im Verleih des Arsenal.
Im Rahmen dieses Projekts wurde Schönherrs Installation SONATE FÜR 4 MONITORE (1968-1971) rekonstruiert und in der Ausstellung Living Archive in den KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin präsentiert. Einige der neu digitalisierten Filme wurden in zwei Programmen im Kino Arsenal gezeigt.
